I recently promised myself that I’d start shooting more video, so I went out and bought myself a DJI Osmo Pocket with the idea that I’d be able to shoot steady video with something that I could easily stash in my pocket. To that end, I put together this quick ambient film I shot last night at Erwin Park in McKinney, Texas.
Exciting news! We are participating in this year’s East Main Arts Festival in Arlington, Texas. We’ll be selling prints, magnets and photocards. Here’s a taste of what we’ll have available for purchase:
If you’re in the DFW area and are looking for something to do this Saturday, come by and see us!
Here’s a nice ambient video of waves rolling onto a beach that I shot recently in Galveston, Texas, with a DJI Phantom drone.
I suddenly just realized that I hadn’t actually blogged about anything in a very, very long time. So, to celebrate my return, I’m announcing that I’ll be hosting the Tyler, Texas, walk during Scott Kelby’s annual World Wide Photowalk. We had a great time walking in Downtown Tyler last year and are hoping to continue the fun this year at Tyler State Park. To join us, you can find the details and sign up by going to the site for the walk here. If you’ve never been to Tyler State Park, click here to see some of my photos from previous visits.
Hope to see you there!
Our Meetup.Com group, Dallas Photo Walk (a great photography group and if you’re in the Dallas area, we’d love to have you join), had a scavenger hunt photo walk in Downtown Plano, Texas, this morning. For the last couple of years, I’ve been trying to log my photo explorations on my iPhone so that I can geotag my photos after importing to Lightroom. I plan on writing about this process in the next few days, but in the meantime, I thought I’d share a map of today’s walk. Perhaps in the coming weeks, I’ll share some from other adventures I’ve had in the past.
